We just got a new BA in Professional Writing and Digital Media approved. We are in the "Upstate" of South Carolina in Spartanburg, a growing city. Greenville is about 35 to 45 minutes away. The beach? About 3 to 4 hours? The Blue Ridge mountains? An hour or so. Our department is small and collegial. SMC just became a four year institution about five years ago, so everything is new and growing.
