The University of Mississippi invites applicants for multiple Instructor positions in the Department of Writing and Rhetoric. These 9-month teaching positions carry a 4/4 teaching load with service opportunities and begin 19 August 2024. These are renewable positions with benefits. Instructors are non-tenure track faculty with opportunities for promotion to Lecturer and Senior Lecturer as defined by the department’s Instructor Promotion Policy. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds. The DWR supports and cultivates student-centered learning while encouraging collective pedagogical approaches from faculty.
