Hello beloved community!
The Disability Studies Community Group (the name change isn’t official yet, but I’m willing the change to happen) is soliciting proposals for our sponsored panel or workshop at 2025 CCCC in Baltimore. Please send proposals to me by May 27, and we will respond with our decisions by May 29.
A few notes:
- We don’t have the capacity to make panels or workshops (though folks are encouraged to use this listserv for that purpose!). So we are only looking for full panel or workshop proposals.
- This is only for our sponsored panel/workshop—if yours is not selected, you should still submit it to CCCC!
- We always receive many many good proposals, and we wish we could select all of them! We tend to select the proposals that identify and forge new trajectories for disability in writing studies while foregrounding intersectional approaches.
We can’t wait to review your proposals!
