This summer I circulated a survey created by the International Writing Centers Association GenAI Task Force. While we had a great initial response (n=152), I know that there are many of you who haven’t had an opportunity to share how you are experiencing and framing generative AI on your campuses and in your center.
If you haven’t yet taken the IWCA GenAI Survey, the TF would greatly appreciate your participation. With more respondents from different locales, institution types, etc., we can better shape what we learn into advocacy and policy guidance as well as PD. And perhaps, we might even alleviate some of our collective heartburn, too.
If you’d like periodic updates or are looking for guidance on specific topics, I recommend two steps:
- Share your name and email via this 2 question form, so I can keep you in the TF’s GenAI distribution loop.
- Look for messages from the TF if you are attending the IWCA Annual Conference during the week of October 21-26. We plan to make ourselves available to members during the conference.
