Assistant Teaching Professor in Writing Studies – College of Arts, Sciences & Education
Job Information
The Writing Program at FIU invites applications for a non-tenure track Assistant Teaching Professor in Writing Studies to begin August 13, 2025. Candidates should hold an MA or PhD in Writing, Rhetoric, and Composition Studies, and/or Professional and Technical Writing, or related field along with an exemplary teaching record. This 9-month appointment carries a 4/4 teaching load, offers a competitive salary, and is eligible for promotion. Job duties include developing and teaching both first-year composition and upper division writing courses and contributing to the program, department, and university through service engagements.
