Hello all – CPTSC is pleased to announce a new speaker series that begins this spring. In a one-hour session, attendees will have the ability to hear from and speak with people within industry and fellow academics a few times a year about various topics that are of concern to those teaching within running technical and professional communication programs.
Our first event in the series will be Tues Feb 18th at 6 pm Eastern. Addison Kliewer will be presenting
Writing with the Numbers: Leveraging Data Analytics for Effective Technical Communication.
Addison is a technical writer at ServiceTitan. He wears many hats, deftly navigating the worlds of software operations, mobile documentation, and technical videography. With a sharp eye for streamlining complex processes and a knack for translating tech jargon into plain language, he empowers users and developers alike. Hailing from Austin, Texas, he is passionate about breaking down silos and creating bridges between different technical communication communities. He has an undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a master’s degree in professional and technical communication from the University of North Texas.
Please see the attached flier for zoom URL and additional information about presentation.
Hope to see many of you there!
