New: The Journal of Peer Tutoring in Secondary Schools, Volume 4, Issue 2

Dear colleagues,

I am so pleased to share with you the latest issue of The Journal of Peer Tutoring in Secondary Schools, the open-source journal of the Secondary School Writing Centers Association (SSWCA). You’ll find in its pages thoughtful, reflective, and research-based inquiries into topics ranging from working with ELL writers to navigating questions of AI in the writing center to building confidence in writers. Thank you to the secondary school writing center practitioners and student tutors whose voices contribute to much to our community. Check out the conference proceedings (including the keynote address from Felicia Rose Chavez) from the SSWCA+BAWP 2024 conference and a conference preview for the SSWCA+CUWP 2025 conference.

We’d love to include your voice in a future issue of JPTSS. Note our May 1 deadline for research articles, practitioner articles, tutor articles, Voices from the Center, and book reviews. If you have any questions about the journal, contact us at jptss.editor

In the meantime, enjoy JPTSS 4.2!
