We’re excited to invite your students to participate as peer reviewers for the Young Scholars in Writing (YSW), a journal dedicated to publishing undergraduate research in writing studies. This is a fantastic opportunity for your students to develop their editorial and critical thinking skills while contributing to the academic community!
Peer-Reviewer Role: As a peer reviewer for YSW, students will play an important role in the submission review process. Their task will be to assess whether a submission meets the criteria for publication in YSW. By serving as peer-reviewers, students will be actively engaged in the editing process while gaining rewarding experience in writing, research, and publishing! Bilingual students encouraged to apply, as we will have submissions in multiple languages!
Who Should Apply: We are looking for students with an interest in writing and rhetoric who would like to engage with the academic publication process. Candidates should have a critical eye for detail, a strong understanding of writing studies, and the ability to engage with scholarly work thoughtfully.
Please encourage your students to apply to serve as peer reviewers for YSW and gain valuable feedback skills in the process. ¿Cuál es el Rol de Revisor Par? Como revisores pares para YSW, los estudiantes desempeñarán un papel importante en el proceso de revisión de envíos. Su tarea será evaluar si un envío cumple con los criterios para su publicación en YSW. Al servir como revisores pares, los estudiantes participarán activamente en el proceso de edición mientras obtienen una experiencia gratificante en escritura, investigación y publicación. ¡Se anima a los estudiantes bilingües a aplicar, ya que tendremos envíos en múltiples idiomas!
¿Quién Debería Aplicar? Buscamos estudiantes con interés en la escritura y la retórica que deseen participar en el proceso de publicación académica.
