Event: Writing and STEM C’s SIG meeting and dinner

As the 2025 convention is approaching, we’d like to encourage everyone to attend our Writing and STEM standing group meeting on Friday, April 11 from 3:30–4:30 PM, in meeting room 344. The agenda includes sharing strategies and resources for teaching writing in the STEM fields in the current political and academic climate, along with other topics that are of interest to the group. We’ll also be voting on the new co-chair (more on that below). See this list of STEM panels at Cs.

We are also making reservations at a nearby (and dietary restriction-friendly) restaurant shortly after the group meeting. Please RSVP by emailing me directly (r_chenoweth) if you’d like to join the group for dinner and drinks on Friday evening!

Last but not least, I’d like to re-share the Google form to nominate yourself or someone else as our next co-chair. You can find more details about the position, and the nomination form itself, at the following link: 2025 Writing and STEM Standing Group Co-Chair Nomination

We look forward to seeing you in Baltimore!
