Hello everyone!

The University of St. Thomas English Department (St. Paul, MN) is currently accepting applications for the position of Visiting Assistant Professor of Technical and Professional Writing with a start date in Fall 2025 (preferably by Aug. 1st). This is a one-year (AY 2025-26), non-tenure track position with a 3/3 course load.

We seek candidates who can teach a wide range of professional and technical writing courses, including writing in business, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines, and in health contexts. Candidates should have demonstrated expertise in teaching writing and critical reading courses. Applicants with a PhD in Technical and Professional Writing (or related fields) and ABD candidates nearing completion are encouraged to apply.
