Colleagues,
I’m writing with a final call for sign-ups for the AWAC Mentoring Committee’s online cross-institutional summer mentoring program. This program is open to all professionals in writing and communication studies. Mentoring pairs are matched based on shared interests and goals, creating not only a space for support and guidance, but also opportunities for networking and cross-institutional collaboration.
Though we’re open to sign-ups from all, we’ve had a strong response from people who would like to be mentees and are now especially seeking mentors. The commitment is a total of three hours: one hour per month in June, July and August. Meetings can be held via Zoom, email, or any format that supports long-distance connection. It’s a great opportunity for professional development and cross-institutional support.
