Hello Prospective Participant,
The purpose of this study is to examine how solo faculty talk about academic isolation.
Eligible participants must be:
- between the ages of 18-89,
- currently a tenured or tenured track faculty who is the only full-time faculty in their program and who may or may not have coordinator/director responsibilities for their program,
- working in a public institution of higher education in the United States, and
- physically present in the United States at the time of questionnaire completion and the interview.
Participants will be asked to:
- Complete this questionnaire including general demographic, descriptive, and contact information. This questionnaire should take no more than 10-15 minutes to complete.
- Complete an audio-recorded phone or Zoom interview. This may take up to 1.5 hours to complete.
