Hi everyone,
As co-chairs of the CWPA (Council of Writing Program Administrators) Accessibility Committee, Mary Lourdes Silva and Dev Bose are excited about this year’s entirely online CWPA conference, to be held July 10-11, 2025. A big thank you to Erin Lehman, CWPA Vice President & Conference Chair, and Kelly Blewett, CWPA President, for their hard work in facilitating it!
To ensure this flagship conference is accessible to everyone, we’re seeking volunteers for Zoom administration. Your help with just 3 sessions will directly contribute to promoting a culture of accessibility within CWPA. In exchange, you will get a letter from the conference coordinators indicating your service for a national conference, which we hope is helpful for your personnel file.
In this vital role, you will provide technical support for your assigned panel, helping to ensure an accessible and inclusive experience for the panel chair, presenters, and attendees. Your contributions help uphold the conference’s commitment to inclusion and accessibility.
If interested, we ask that you
- Read more about CWPA 2025 Zoom administrator duties and responsibilities
- Please sign up for three slots here: CWPA 2025 Sessions Schedule
- Before the conference Dev and Mary Lourdes will offer a Zoom session to answer any questions about being a Zoom administrator.
We’re eager to draw from our community of folks who are willing and able to assist with this important effort. Email us if you have any questions: Dev Bose (bose) and Mary Lourdes (msilva).
Best,
Dev & Mary Lourdes
