Call for Interest: Help Shape GSOLE’s New Graduate Student Wing – GSOLE-GO!
Are you a graduate student interested in online literacy education, digital pedagogy, or multimodal composition? Do you want to connect with others across institutions who are navigating similar questions about teaching, research, and professional development in digital spaces?
We’re excited to announce that GSOLE is in the early stages of launching a Graduate Student Wing—GSOLE-GO (Graduate Organization), and we’re looking for students to help co-create it.
Aims of GSOLE-GO?
GSOLE-GO aims to be a global, student-led community for graduate students who are preparing to teach and research reading, writing, and digital literacy in online contexts. Building on GSOLE’s core mission of access, inclusion, and quality in online literacy instruction, GSOLE-GO will serve as a space for mentorship, professional development, collaboration, and visibility for emerging scholars in the field.
Get involved!
We’re currently gathering interest from graduate students who would like to:
- Help shape the structure and programming of GSOLE-GO
- Join (or help lead!) working groups on mentorship, professional prep, research, or conference support
- Share their needs and ideas for how GSOLE can better serve graduate students
- Build a diverse, international network of peers in online literacy education
