Survey: Everyday Writing and Learning Across the Lifespan Project

Dear Colleagues,
My name is Anna D’Orazio, and I am a doctoral candidate at the University of Cincinnati under the advising of Dr. Laura Micciche. I am writing to request your participation in my IRB-approved dissertation study (IRB 2025-0722) focused on writing and learning transfer in everyday contexts. I am specifically interested in the affective and material components that mediate knowledge transfer across one’s lifespan.
If you write and learn in contexts beyond school for any reason, then I invite you to take my survey. If you are interested in participating in a follow-up interview about your experiences, where we will also examine samples of your everyday writing, you will have the opportunity to indicate your interest on the survey. This follow-up interview is completely optional. Likewise, if you wish to exit the survey at any time, you may do so. In that case, your data will not be saved.
There are no known risks associated with this study. Participants will remain anonymous in my reporting process. You will receive no compensation for participation in this study. Please feel free to contact me at doraziaa if you have questions or concerns.
To access the online survey, please click on this link (or use https://ucincinnati.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_cO36hAX3RMiJwDs) Please also consider sharing the survey with your personal networks.
Thank you for considering this request.
Best Regards,
Anna D’Orazio
