Survey: AI in language and writing instruction

Hello all,

Dear language and writing teachers,

My name is Isaac Adubofour, a doctoral candidate in Composition and Applied Linguistics at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I am investigating the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in language and writing instruction across institutions of higher education in the U.S. and the impact of the interaction with AI on language and writing teacher identities. Thus, language teachers (i.e., teachers of any language) and writing instructors in accredited colleges are invited to participate.

Your participation in this study will not yield personal benefits to you but will contribute to current pedagogical understandings of the integration of AI tools in language and writing instruction, which will benefit language and writing disciplines, policy makers, educational advocates, and materials developers, among others.

Participation in this study consists of completing a survey, which is estimated to take no longer than 10-15 minutes. Your participation is voluntary and anonymous. No personally identifying information of any kind will be collected. You are free to end your participation in this study at any time by simply closing your browser window.
