Exciting news: SWCA is extending the deadline to submit proposals for the 2026 conference until Monday, November 3rd.
The 2026 SWCA conference, co-hosted by the University of North Alabama and Athens State University, is scheduled to take place in Florence, AL on UNA’s beautiful campus February 26-28.

If you submitted a proposal for the 2025 conference, you are guaranteed acceptance for the 2026 conference. However, you must submit a new proposal form and select "Yes" in response to the question "Was your proposal accepted for the 2025 conference?"
