July 12-15, 2026, University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada
Gateways to Culturally-Adaptive Communication: Global and Local Practices in Professional Communication

ProComm welcomes participants to the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada. Edmonton is considered a strategic launch point and a vital logistics center for the mining and exploration activities expanding into the Northwest Territories; it is a foundational base for companies operating in the oil sands, and it is known as the “Gateway to the North.” The conference theme is inspired by this gateway of opportunities.
We encourage submissions for papers, panels, or workshops that address how “Gateways to culturally-adaptive communication: global and local practices in professional communication” is articulated or realized in professional communication.
