Grand Valley State University and the Fred Meijer Center for Writing and Michigan Authors are excited to host the Michigan Writing Center Association (MiWCA) conference on Saturday October 28th. Our theme of Looking Ahead speaks to the challenges and opportunities Writing Centers face with regards to A.I. in Writing, changing student populations, and shifting expectations for academic support. The MiWCA has a rich history of engaging conversations among writing centers in Michigan, but all states, programs, tutors/consultants are encouraged and welcome to attend.
