Survey: Writing Center Sustainability

Dear writing center colleagues,

I’d greatly appreciate your feedback in reflecting on the state of the writing center in the post-information age. While much has been discussed about the pedagogical implications of AI overreliance and hyper-personalization, critical discussions are needed to address the increased precarity of academic writing centers fueled by these factors.

This feedback will be collected through an anonymous survey, and participants are asked not to disclose their personal identifying information or institutional affiliation. Please be encouraged to share your experiences through this survey.

Qualifying participants are:
1) Individuals aged 18 and older
2) Current writing instructors or writing center tutors, administrative staff, and directors at an institution of higher learning within the United States
3) Individuals who have worked closely with the administrative processes of writing center work
4) Individuals who have witnessed, implemented, or developed practices of sustainability within their institution’s academic writing center

Survey Time:
This survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete.
