Survey: Open Educational Resources (OER)

Colleagues,

My name is Brian Flynn, and I am a doctoral student at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I am conducting a research study on faculty perceptions of Open Educational Resources (OER) and the role of institutional support in OER adoption in community college general education courses.

I am reaching out to invite you to participate in this study by completing an anonymous online survey. Your insights and experiences are invaluable in helping us understand how institutions can better support faculty in adopting and using OER.

Participation Details

• The survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete.
• Your participation is completely voluntary and anonymous.
• There are no risks associated with participation beyond those encountered in daily life.
• The findings from this study may contribute to improving institutional support for OER implementation.

To participate, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• You teach at a community college.
• You have used Open Educational Resources (OER) in at least one of your courses during the past three years.

As a thank you for your participation, all participants who complete the survey will receive access to a curated collection of free teaching resources designed to support faculty using Open Educational Resources.
