Hi friends,
I’m excited to help launch a new TYCA network focused on graduate education for English/writing studies careers at community colleges and other access-oriented institutions (AOIs). We’re hoping this group will bring together graduate faculty, current/prospective graduate students, and current AOI faculty interested in contributing to research, program development, and policy in this area. The working name for this group is (drumroll) the TYCA Graduate Education Network.
If you are interested in getting involved with this network, please email me at christie.toth, and I will add you to the new Google group we are creating. We will also be meeting during the network roundtables session (11:30-12:30) at the TYCA National Conference in Cleveland on March 4. During that session, we will talk about an initial TYCA charge for the group and discuss what kinds of activities and resources folks in the network are interested in developing.
Please feel free to forward this invitation to anyone in your networks who might want to be involved!
Christie
