These are extraordinary times, but if you are attending CCCCs, please consider joining us at the Community Writing and Public Rhetorics SIG (Special Interest Group) on Friday from 3:30-4:30 (Rm. 6, Concourse Level C3).
No matter where you are in this process— considering a community project for your students; thinking about logistics, funding, and/or partnerships; looking at writing options and publication venues; or even just wondering about how to get started in the first place—you are so welcome to join us.
In partnership with our friends at the Coalition for Community Writing and at Wayne State, where we recently co-sponsored the Conference on Community Writing, this SIG is a space where we share our community-based work, learn about new initiatives (both one another’s and in the field at large), and crowd-source / problem-solve together.
