Hello,
The GRN is in search of 1) proposals from graduate students and early career scholars and 2) discussion leaders and/or alt acc panelists for this year’s Graduate Research Network meeting! We are reaching out because you have previously participated in our event, and we hope for your further involvement in the GRN.
The GRN will take place at UNC Charlotte on Thursday, June 4th. The morning session will consist of a work-in-progress workshop, and the afternoon session will have a Jobs and Alt Acc panel discussion. Food and beverages will be served, and there is a tentative virtual option. If you would like to participate virtually, you can indicate so in the form.
There are a few different ways to participate in the GRN meeting:
Submit a Proposal: If you are a graduate student or early-career faculty and would like to receive feedback on your research, submit a proposal to be workshopped!
Discussion Leader: if you are interested in mentoring graduate students and early-career faculty, you can participate as a discussion leader in workshop conversations.
Jobs and Alt Acc Panel: if you would like to discuss job opportunities for graduate students in or outside of academia, you can sign up to become part of the afternoon session panel.
Please indicate your preferred role and/or submit your proposal via graduateresearchnetwork or go to our website for more information! We look forward to your further involvement in the GRN.
Thank you,
