I hope this Canvas message finds you well. South Seattle College is hiring two full-time, tenure-track English faculty, and I wanted to reach out to the members of this awesome group. 🙂
An English composition instructors, you already know what our students bring to the classroom–the range of languages, life experience, and hard-won knowledge that doesn’t always show up in placement scores. We’re looking for faculty who see that as the richest part of the work, not a challenge to manage.
We want people who are thinking seriously about antiracist writing pedagogy, who have something to say about how composition programs should evolve, and who actually like teaching developmental and first-year writers. If that’s you–or someone you know–we’d love to see an application.
