Hello Writing Studies colleagues,
My name is Chloe Crull, and I am a doctoral candidate studying Writing, Rhetoric, and Composition Studies at the University of California, Davis. I am conducting an IRB-approved research study that investigates how WPAs collaborate with other units or departments across campus. I am especially interested in learning how the collaborations started and what went well (and what didn’t go well!).
I am specifically seeking participants who direct Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) programs or participants who direct Basic Writing programs since WPAs with these roles are currently unrepresented in the study. To participate, please complete a brief 5-minute multiple-choice survey. At the end of the survey, you will have the option to indicate your interest in an optional 60-minute Zoom interview. In this interview, I will ask you questions about your experiences collaborating with other units or departments on campus. Please be prepared to talk about both successful and unsuccessful collaborations.
Individuals who complete both the multiple-choice survey and the optional follow-up interview will be compensated with a $20.00 Amazon gift card for their participation, which will be sent via email within ~4 weeks after the interview, in appreciation for your time.
