Dear colleagues,
The CCCC Medical Rhetoric Standing Group (MRSG) invites proposals for our
sponsored roundtable at the 2027 CCCC Conference in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
This year’s roundtable, ‘Designing Health Futures in Rhetorics of Health
and Medicine,’ takes up the conference theme ‘Design Writing Futures’ to
ask how rhetoric shapes, challenges, and reimagines the futures that health
systems produce.
We welcome 250-word proposals from scholars at all career stages, including
graduate students, early career faculty, and multiply marginalized or
underrepresented scholars. Co-authored submissions are welcome. The
deadline for proposals is Monday, May 19, 2026.
