Dear WPA-GO Members,
I’m excited to be sharing WPA-GO’s Spring Newsletter (attached) along with a couple announcements of interest. Read below for more!
The Spring Newsletter, offered by the Digital Presence Committee, features an interview with co-chair of the Accessibility Committee Hunter Whitt, along with updates from our committees and leadership council members. We also highlight a call for papers for our upcoming Graduate Research Series, proposals due June 20th.
Please also consider nominating yourself (or encourage a friend/colleague to nominate themselves) for a 2026-2027 Leadership Council position. WPA-GO is a graduate student-led organization, and each year new leaders serve on the Leadership Council, pursuing projects and curating events supporting graduate students in writing studies. Nominations are due June 29th and we’re excited to hear from you! View the call for nominations.
On behalf of Disseminar, we’d also like to share about the upcoming Zoom workshop series Jobs in English and Transdisciplinary Studies (JETS) for those who are seeking academic jobs in our field. You can find more information and register for the workshop series, which starts on June 10th, on their website.
Sincerely,
Taylor
