I am a PhD candidate at East Carolina University in the Englishdepartment. I am asking you to take part in my research study entitled, “Rhetorical Agency Around Writing Center Session Notes.”
The purpose of this research is to understand the methods that writing centers instruct tutors/consultants on how to compose Client Report Forms (or session notes).
I am collecting training/instructional materials writing centers use to instruct CRF composition. I would greatly appreciate if you could share any training materials or instructions, Canvas modules (or the materials from them), guidelines, or any other session note completion materials.
The amount of time it will take you to complete this survey is 5-10 minutes. You will answer some questions about your institution, and there is a section for you upload files, if applicable. All information will be anonymized, and neither you nor your institution will be named.
This research is overseen by the ECU Institutional Review Board. Therefore, some of the IRB members or the IRB staff may need to review my research data.Your identity will be evident to those individuals who see this information. However, I will take precautions to ensure that anyone not authorized to see your identity will not be given that information.
