Call for Applicants: Assistant Editors for WPA: Writing Program Administration
The editors of WPA: Writing Program Administration seek applicants for two assistant editor positions to begin September 2026. The assistant editors will aid the editorial team with editing, correspondence, and social media management.
Applicants should be early career scholars or advanced doctoral students who have completed coursework in composition-rhetoric. Preference will be given to applicants whose coursework, research, or experience engages with writing program administration.
Please send a letter of application outlining your interest in and qualifications for the position, a CV, and the contact information for one reference to wpaeditors.
The deadline for applications is August 1, 2026. We hope to hold brief interviews with applicants in mid-August to fill the positions to begin on September 1, 2026.
