Hey TYCA folks!
The time has come to register for the upcoming TYCA Midwest 2026 conference, and it’s going to be a great one! Hosted by Metropolitan Community College, the conference will take place in Omaha, Nebraska from Oct. 8th to Oct. 10th. The theme this year is "The Cutting Edge," symbolic of both the innovative and precarious positions that two-year colleges occupy today. Register for the conference and book your hotel and travel to join us for a wide variety of engaging presentations, round tables, workshops.
Additionally, we are extending a Call for Nominations for our TYCA Midwest awards created to celebrate the teacher-scholar-activist community in our region. Please consider nominating a colleague (or yourself!) for an award. More information will be shared about the awards, the nominations, and the voting process during the conference.
Last but not least, TYCA Midwest is looking for new board members to join the Executive and Advisory Committees. If you are from the Midwest and interested in regional professional service or curious about joining the board of our wonderful organization, please click the link above or attend the related session at the conference.
