Rhoda Oladosu for "A Retrospective Analysis of the Experiences of Doctoral Students in Technical and Professional Communication Programs"
Mariam Mohammed’s project was highly recommended for its potentially deeper examination of how daily interactions and expectations shape minority students’ sense of belonging. Rhoda Oladosu’s submission examines the experiences of doctoral students, focusing especially on how they feel coursework and mentorship have prepared them.
These proposals address programmatic implications for doctoral programs within Technical and Scientific Communication.
We also wish to thank all of the applicants for the award. We received some excellent proposals and look forward to some amazing graduate student programmatic research at this year’s conference.
