Editors’ Roundtable
We’re excited to host this year’s CPTSC Editors’ Roundtable today via Zoom, Tuesday, September 22, from 5:00–6:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
Editors from the field’s leading journals will discuss what distinguishes their journals, emerging and underrepresented areas of research, strategies for scholars interested in publishing, and connections between journal research and TSC pedagogy and program administration. The conversation will also address how journals are navigating generative AI in editorial review, author submissions, and peer review.

Both current CPTSC membership and conference registration are required to present. You can complete both through the CPTSC membership and conference registration page.

Presentation Logistics and Format
Please keep your presentation brief, accessible, and focused.
This short video on preparing a 5–7 minute CPTSC presentation offers some helpful tips.
To help each panel run smoothly, please designate a moderator from among the presenters. The moderator should:
- Keep track of time
- Facilitate transitions between presenters
- Help manage the Q&A discussion
- Assist with any technology needs
Hybrid Presentations
We are allowing a limited number of hybrid panels this year, based on special circumstances determined on a case-by-case basis. If you are unable to present in person and would like to present via Zoom, please communicate with your fellow panelists and/or a conference co-chair in advance to coordinate technology needs.
We also encourage virtual presenters to record a video of their presentation in advance to help minimize potential technology disruptions during the session. Virtual presenters will still need to pay the required membership and conference registration fees and may participate in the live Q&A.
