Dear Colleagues,
I’m writing today to ask for help distributing our survey to your online or hybrid writing students.
A group of colleagues across the United States (who are members of the Online Writing Instruction Community) are conducting survey research related to college students’ use of AI in online and hybrid writing courses.
The study is cross-institutional and aims to learn about students’ perceptions of and interactions with AI. The survey has 15 questions and takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.
I am asking if you would be willing to help us gather data by emailing your students the following survey and ask for their participation.
While the survey can be taken by any student, regardless of the type of course they are enrolled in, we are especially interested in hearing from students currently enrolled in online or hybrid writing courses. If you are teaching in one of these modalities, we would be very grateful for your assistance with survey distribution.
