I hope the summer is winding down nicely for you. I have an opportunity for you if you wish to add a line to your CV. Our Writing Across the Curriculum initiative is sponsoring a series of workshops on writing pedagogy to be delivered to instructors across disciplines, and I always like to invite people from different schools. The dates I have available are the following, and will be held through a hybrid format (you can be remote):
October 11
November 15
Workshops will take place from 2 to 3 p.m. EST.
Topics include (but are not limited to)
Assignment Design
Writing Comments
Conferencing with Students
Peer Review
Writing with AI
Any topic of your choice that you feel would be applicable toward instructors of different disciplines
These workshops are practical, nuts and bolts presentations; theory is kept to a minimum.
