Event: GSOLE Virtual Conference Registration Now Open

The Global Society of Online Literacy Educators (GSOLE) invites you to register for the sixth annual “Visions and Sites of Online Literacy Education,” a virtual international conference, which includes asynchronous video presentations available starting January 25 and synchronous Zoom presentations February 1 and 2. Even if you cannot attend live, registration will include access to the conference presentation archives!

High quality teaching starts with a community of teachers and informed pedagogy—no matter the delivery method. As a community, we gather to discuss and respond to the everchanging learning landscapes and technologies, including generative AI tools. We are all online teachers: We all leverage digital and web technologies in teaching, tutoring, and administration. Our conference highlights contextualized approaches to literacy education, helping identify more sustainable, equitable, and effective approaches to online literacy education.

As a non-profit organization, we pride ourselves in creating a high quality, affordable, accessible conference experience. Registration for GSOLE members is $10 for students and contingent or emeritus faculty; $20 for full-time instructors, staff, and administrators. GSOLE membership is similarly affordable, ranging from $20 to $50 per year depending on your self-reported professional rank. To learn more about the GSOLE conference, please visit the conference webpage on the GSOLE site.
