About the review process:

“Working with Queen City Writers was a wonderful experience. The feedback was positive and kind, but also very thorough – it was clear the reviewers put a lot of time and care into reading the work. With communication, I was always kept in the loop, and given considerable time to make edits. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better first opportunity to publish my writing.” -Ileana Oeschger, Spring 2024

“Working with Queen City Writers was an invaluable experience. The reviewers’ feedback was comprehensive and encouraging. Their evaluations provided me with clear suggestions for improvement in my writing while also identifying my strengths. I appreciated the editors’ transparent communication throughout this process as well.” — Ireland Seagle, Fall 2023
