Dear writing center community:
I write to announce that the search for a new editorial team for The Writing Center Journal has been extended until January 8, 2025. Please see the Call for WCJ Editorial Team for more information.
We strongly encourage interested parties to reach out to me (wynn) to learn more about the role. One thing that is important to understand is that we’ve partnered with Purdue, who handles the copyediting and the web publishing processes, which makes it easier for the editors to focus on promoting the journal and mentoring reviewers and authors.
We would be especially excited about an multi-country team, which would allow us to focus more on writing centers across the globe and/or publish some issues/articles in more than one language. Please note that you don’t need to do this alone. Harry Denny has expressed a willingness to serve as an advisor of sorts to the new team, helping it to learn from his long institutional and publication memory.
Respectfully,
Sherry
