The University of Vermont is seeking candidates for two distinct roles within the Study CATS Program, a university-wide academic intervention initiative designed to support first-year students with a GPA of 2.3 or lower who will benefit from structured interventions.
Study CATS Coordinator
The Study CATS Coordinator oversees the Study CATS Program, managing its educational and administrative components. This includes curriculum development, course scheduling and enrollment, assessment, and reporting. The Coordinator also teaches a required course focused on growth mindset, executive function, and academic skills while increasing student utilization of university resources. The Coordinator collaborates with eligible and enrolled students, academic student services staff, the Registrar, and other campus support personnel. Study CATS Student Success Coach
The Study CATS Student Success Coach provides direct instruction and individualized support to students participating in the Study CATS Program. The Success Coach teaches the required course focused on growth mindset, executive function, and academic skills, helping students engage with targeted university resources. Additionally, the Success Coach works closely with the Coordinator and other university departments to enhance student support services.
