New: Peitho Issue 28.1, Fall 2025 is Live!

Peitho Issue 28.1 is Live!

The Peitho Editorial Team is proud to announce the publication of Issue 28.1, Fall 2025. This issue is the first to be published under the direction of new editors Bryna Siegel Finer, Cathryn Molloy, and Jamie White-Farnham. This issue features four full-length articles that interestingly converge around the theme of “meta” – featuring a newly coined concept of “meta-reception,” performance-protests around rape, AAVE and meta-research on linguistic justice in first-year writing, and the co-opting of a patriotic book series for environmental justice by a woman author. Though varied, the through-line among these pieces of scholarship is how women have savvily used rhetoric for activist-oriented aims and its study throughout history – an apt snapshot for the purpose and scope of Peitho.

Many thanks to the editors and contributors for this fantastic issue!
