The Department of Writing & Rhetoric at the University of Mississippi invites you to the Transitioning to College Writing Symposium. TCW focuses on bringing together K–16 educators for the purpose of supporting teachers of writing and facilitating conversations about writing instruction across grade levels and disciplines.
This year’s event, titled "Balancing Acts: Juggling the Many Roles of the Writing Teacher," will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026. We are currently welcoming abstracts for interactive workshops, research roundtables, or poster sessions. Please see the full CFP attached and visit our website for more information.
The deadline for proposals is Friday, April 3rd. We hope you will consider sharing your work with us!
