The College of New Jersey is currently hiring for the position of Writing Program Coordinator. This is a FT, 10-month staff position, with teaching responsibilities. The Coordinator has primary administrative oversight of our terrific First Year Writing (FYW) Studio program – FYW Studio is a half-unit course students take alongside of their First Year Seminar (FYS) course. FYW Studio is opt-in through Directed Self Placement, and includes class meeting time, regular one-on-one meetings with the instructor, and regular one-on-one meetings with an embedded tutor. The Coordinator also assists with other programming and administration, including Directed Self Placement, assessment, and events like our semesterly Write Ins.
TCNJ is a small, vibrant public college near Trenton, NJ. The position reports to the Director of Writing (me!), and the Department of Writing is housed within College Wide Academic Affairs.
External hire salary: AFT Range 18, $55,142.18 – $63,410.34
