Currently seeking full-time community college faculty who teach writing intensive courses to participate in 3, 1-hr interviews about their past and current teaching/assessment practices.

Ungrading techniques include:
Feedback-only assessment
Specifications grading
Peer- or self-assessment
Labor-based assessment
Project or Service Learning
Performance-based assessment

About the study:
This is a voluntary research study relating to pedagogical attitudes of community college faculty and their experiences with ungrading practices.

This 3-week study involves a series of 3, 60-90 minute interviews and a submission of a pedagogical development (critical incidences) timeline.

The benefits include reflection of teaching praxis; the risks may include recollection of teaching and learning experiences characterized by the participant as negatively charged in nature.

Participants are compensated after the 3rd interview with a $25 gift card
