Dear Colleagues,
As the spring semester comes to a close, please consider submitting your work to The Journal of Writing Analytics.
Published by the WAC Clearinghouse, the journal publishes peer-reviewed articles and reports that broadly address work in writing analytics—the study of writing processes and written texts through the use of a wide range of analytical tools, including those drawn from writing studies, corpus linguistics, cognitive psychology, learning analytics, and moral philosophy.
We accept manuscripts in six categories:
- Research Articles
- Research Notes
- Book Reviews
- Innovations in Analytics
- New Quantitative Techniques
- Writing Analytics in Context/in the Classroom
Manuscripts submitted by June 1, 2026, will be considered for publication in Volume 9 of the journal. The volume will include an article cluster focused on AI and analytics.
Submission information is available at: https://wacclearinghouse.org/jwa/submisssions/
Feel free to contact me with any questions (Brian.Gogan or journalofwritinganalytics).
