Dear Colleagues,
I’m writing to invite you to join the Summer Mentoring Program, sponsored by the Association for Writing Across the Curriculum’s (AWAC’s) Mentoring Committee. The Summer Mentoring Program pairs writing and communication professionals in one-on-one mentoring relationships, creating opportunities for cross-institutional connections and professional exchange. It is open to participants across career stages and professional contexts.
The Summer Mentoring Program spans the months of June, July, and August 2026. And yes, many people take vacations during that time! As a program participant, you will be asked to commit one hour per month to meeting with your mentor or mentee. That hour can happen at any time you both choose and take place via an online platform of your choice.
We are especially in need of mentors, but welcome applications from mentees and those serving in both roles.
