Dear Colleagues,
My name is Priyanka (Priya) Ganguly, and I am an Assistant Professor of Technical Communication and Rhetoric at Texas Tech University. I am reaching out to invite you to take part in a research study on transnational competence in technical and professional communication (TPC) programs — specifically how it is currently defined, taught, and assessed across different institutional contexts.
This IRB-approved study is supported by the Council for Programs in Technical and Scientific Communication (CPTSC) Open Research Grants program. Findings will directly shape the Transnational TPC Competency Pack (T-TPC Pack), a free, openly licensed toolkit of rubrics, assignments, and implementation guides designed for TPC programs to adopt and adapt.
No prior knowledge of transnational competence is required to participate. If you teach or oversee any form of global, intercultural, or international communication content at any level or institution type, your perspective is valuable to this study.
The survey is anonymous, takes 15–20 minutes, and collects no identifying information. After completing the survey, respondents may optionally enter a drawing for one of 20 Amazon e-gift cards ($20 each) through a separate form.

Please feel free to forward this to anyone in your network who might be interested. Questions can be directed to prigangu.
Thank you for your time and contributions to the field.
Warmly,
Priya
