Dear colleagues,
Thank you to everyone who has completed my surveyon intercultural learning outcomes and assessment practices so far. I have had the chance to skim through the responses and have enjoyed reading your thoughtful and insightful comments.
For those who provided contact information to receive a gift card, most gift cards should have arrived by now. All gift cards have been mailed by JMU Prepaid Card Services, except for surveys completed within the last two weeks, which were mailed yesterday. If you have not received your gift card yet, please feel free to contact me.
If you are interested in participating but have not had a chance to complete the survey yet, I will keep the survey open through the weekend until June 7.
A reminder of the survey details is included below. Thank you again for your time and support.
My name is Meghalee Das, and I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Writing, Rhetoric and Technical Communication at James Madison University (JMU). I would like to invite you to participate in a study on intercultural learning outcomes and assessment practices in technical and professional communication (TPC) and related writing courses.
I am specifically interested in hearing from instructors, program directors, and curriculum committee members in TPC and related writing fields with experience teaching, overseeing, or assessing undergraduate programs, courses, or assignments that include intercultural learning outcomes and activities.
Participation involves completing a 15-minute anonymous online survey. Participants who complete the survey will have the option to provide a mailing address in a separate online form after submitting the survey to receive a $10 Visa gift card. Gift cards will be mailed by JMU within approximately 4 weeks of survey completion.
