In anticipation of the Coalition’s 40th anniversary, Peitho journal is planning a special summer 2027 issue on "Practicing Resilience at 40: Marking Four Decades of the Coalition of Feminist Scholars in the History of Rhetoric and Composition." The guest editors welcome article-length and multimodal submissions on topics that engage the practice of resilience from a feminist historical, historiographic, pedagogical, environmental, digital, administrative, and/or political perspectives. They also invite shorter submissions for Peitho‘s "Recoveries and Reconsiderations" and "Overlays" sections.
Please see the CFP here for a full description of special issue, and note that proposals are due by September 1. Acceptances will be sent out by September 15, with draft manuscripts due December 1.
Join us in engaging with and interrogating our understanding of what it means to practice rhetorical resilience at this anniversary moment!
