The news of NCTE’s de-chartering of CCCC has led many in writing studies to develop strategies for organizing the future of the field. Following the suggestion of Dr. Elizabeth Wardle (Miami University of Ohio), we are organizing a virtual ideation symposium for the Mid-Atlantic region for our colleagues to brainstorm and plan for the future of Writing Studies Rhetoric.

We are planning on a two-day symposium, with the second day building on the work done on the first day. You are welcome to attend both days or choose one day, as your schedule allows. A formal agenda will be provided after the voting period is over.
