Apply: Fellowship Opportunities with the WAC Clearinghouse

Dear Colleagues,

The WAC Clearinghouse is pleased to announce three 2026-2027 fellowship opportunities for doctoral students and early career scholars interested in gaining editorial and publishing experience: the Susan H. McLeod New Scholar Fellowship with the Reference Guides to Rhetoric and Composition, the Will Hochman New Scholar Fellowship with the Publishing & Communication Teams, and the Charles Bazerman New Scholar Fellowship with the Journal of Writing Analytics.

Each fellowship is a 12-month appointment carrying a $1,000 stipend and offers opportunities for mentorship, professional development, and substantive participation in Clearinghouse projects and publications.
